With football fever having gripped the country over the past month, we recently gave customers and staff the chance to score a penalty against our mascot Archie Bee and raised £389.73 for Children's Hospice South West.
Penalty takers made a £1 donation to take their shot and all those that beat Archie Bee were entered into a prize draw to win a Sharp 49" LED TV; South Molton customer Tim Perry was pulled out of the hat as the lucky winner.
Kevin Fenlon, CEO at RGB, commented:
"The penalty shoot-out was great fun and, although Archie Bee's performance wasn't quite up to the standard of Jordan Pickford, he did save a fair few shots! We'd like to thank all our customers who took part for helping us to raise funds for Children's Hospice South West."
Children's Hospice South West our chosen charity, and we are organising a number of events to raise funds. The hospice provides care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West.
